Welcome to the Allons Elementary School Counseling Connection!
This page is designed to help me connect with everyone-students, parents, teachers and the community. I feel very blessed to be able to impact the lives of students and families with the job that I have. For those of you who don't know me or aren't familiar with what I do, let me take the time to introduce myself and explain what I do at our school.
My name is Kerri Aldridge. You may hear your child refer to me as Mrs. Kerri or Mrs. Aldridge. I am a licensed school counselor with a BS in Psychology, MA in School Psychology and an EdS in School Counseling, all of which I received from Tennessee Technological University.
There are several components to the school counseling program. Probably the most familiar is the School Guidance Curriculum. This includes classroom instruction, interdisciplinary curriculum, group activities and parent workshops and instruction. Other components include Individual Student Planning, System Support, and one of the most important, Responsive Services.
Responsive Services includes consultation with teachers and parents, individual and small group counseling, crisis counseling, referrals to outside agencies, and peer facilitation.
The majority of my time is spent working on the School Guidance Curriculum, teaching character based lessons in the classroom and in Responsive Services, working on individual counseling, consultation, and peer facilitation.
If you ever have any questions for me or would like to contact me, you may call me at school anytime at 823-5921 or email me at [email protected].
Thank you for the privilege of serving your children. It is my goal that each child reach their full potential academically, personally and socially and also in career planning for their future.
Below is a survey that will help me plan and implement a more effective school counseling program. Please take the time to complete the survey so that I can better serve your child and our school. Thank you!
